ImmuneMax is designed to provide a multi-mechanistic approach to support a healthy immune system. Zinc plays an important role in the maturation of white blood cells and the regulation of proper immune responses to foreign invaders. ImmuneMax also contains herbal extracts, such as Shitake and Maitake Mushroom, which contain branched polysaccharides that have been used extensively for supporting and activating certain white blood cells of the innate immune system that are involved in phagocytosis. In addition ImmuneMax contains a therapeutic dose of Astragalus which is known for its immune enhancing properties that are excellent for restoring the activity of a suppressed immune system.
